After cooling down, each ornament will enter an annealing chamber where temperatures between 900 – 1,000 degrees Fahrenheit will gradually cool over several hours until all stresses within the glass have been relieved; this helps prevent thermal shock which can cause cracking when exposed to sudden temperature changes after completion. If no effects of thermal shock have taken place during this time then each piece will be ready for decoration.
Decoration includes painting on each individual ornament by hand using small brushes and carefully mixing colors together until reaching desired results.
